BTCC highlights:
Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship
Snetterton 300
Saturday 03 - Sunday 04 August 2013

The BTCC returns from its mid-season break this weekend with teams and drivers raring to go! The action on the 300 circuit, the championship's newest, is a pointer to the form of the second half of the year and the all-important run-in to the championship finale. A combination of two high-speed straights and an infield section overlooked by panoramic spectator banks gives the cars a real workout. The action around the new arena is always fierce too, with plenty of the overtaking, bumping and barging that the championship is renowned for!

This season has seen the return of 2009 title winner Colin Turkington to the fold, making it four champions in the field. Old rivals Matt Neal and Jason Plato, plus reigning champion Gordon Shedden will also face stiff competition from the rest of a packed field, including the impressive Andrew Jordan.

The three races include a reverse-grid spectacular to end the weekend. Plus there's plenty of action from some of the country's best championships on the support bill too.

Snetterton was transformed in 2011 with the creation of a new infield circuit and huge elevated spectator banks. Click here to see the panoramic views on offer for fans and here to download a map showing the location of the new grandstands and big TV screens.

British Touring Car Championship

Personalities and bodywork collide in Britain's premier car racing series. Manufacturers such as Honda, Infiniti, Ford, and BMW are represented on a grid of more than thirty cars.

Ginetta Junior Championship

A series for young chargers aged 14 to 17 to hone their driving style. Former competitors have graduated to GT racing, BRDC Formula 4 and other series on the Touring Car Package.

Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain

A traditional proving ground for young drivers hoping to make a name for themselves in single seaters.

Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup

These cars are very similar to those that can be found in the British GT Championship. As such this is a great place for an aspiring GT racer to learn his craft in front of the huge crowds that support the BTCC.

Renault UK Clio Cup

This series is, in a word, 'intense'! The drivers are evenly matched and the cars identical - the result is some of the most exciting racing on the BTCC support bill!

Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain
