Snetterton Maintenance Team Opportunities - 22 Dec 2016

We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join the Venue Maintenance team at the Snetterton motor racing circuit for the 2017 race season. 

GROUNDSMAN ASSISTANT (fixed term contract)
As a Junior Green Keeper or other sporting ground grass care specialist, the successful applicant will be responsible for all the grass care on site, and in particular turf maintenance.

Working alongside our Senior Groundsman you will help development of the soft landscaping on site. In addition the successful candidate will be required to assist in the servicing and maintenance of all green keeping machinery and equipment. The position is based on a 40-hour week however flexibility will be essential, particularly over the summer months and leading up to and during our promoted events.

VENUE MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT  (fixed term contract)
The successful candidate will assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the Snetterton grounds and facilities, ensuring that all areas are presented to a high standard at all times.

Candidates will have previous experience in property and/or estate maintenance (golf club, sports venue, park, spectator attraction, private estate or similar), they will have an eye for detail and take pride in the appearance of the Snetterton site.

CARETAKER/CLEANER (fixed term contract)
First class presentation of our venue is very important to us. This role requires a well organised individual capable of carrying out a wide variety of caretaking and general cleaning duties. The successful candidate will also be responsible for organising and supervising the existing Venue Cleaning team during our midweek and weekend activities.

Working as part of the Venue Operations Team, you will ensure that the venue is cleaned to professional standards. You will be responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of variety of buildings, including the Toilets and Showers, Circuit Offices, Archie Scott-Brown Centre and Pitlane Complex, and will have an eye for detail. Caretaking duties will cover the preparation of buildings and room 'layouts' for clients, as well as general duties to ensure the "high use" public areas are kept presentable.

Due to the nature of the business, all candidates will need to have a flexible approach to working hours and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
