Quarterly Update - October to December - 18 Oct 2013

The season may be drawing to a close but Snetterton still has plenty to offer in the coming weeks!

We welcome the Classic Sports Car Club next weekend (19-20 October) with their eclectic circus of series, featuring cars from the 60s through to more recent times. Their programme will feature Tin Tops and GTs as well as Caterham-style sportscars in the CSCC Gold Arts Magnificent Sevens series. This weekend will also see the return of the CSCC Classic K category and feature the Pirelli Ferrari Open as a guest series!

The CSCC's outing will be followed, a week later (26-27 October), by another bumper line-up from MSVR. The spotlight will most likely fall on the season finale of the F3 Cup, with the three-way title battle seemingly going right down to the wire! Alex Craven, Alice Powell and Tristan Cliffe are separated by only a handful of points and with the momentum shifting from race to race, there's no telling how this one could pan out.

Elsewhere on the MSVR bill Radical will be bringing three championships to the party, with the Clubman's Cup and SR3 Cup both displaying machines not dissimilar to Le Mans prototypes. The newest member of Radical's racing roster, the SR1 cup, is set to intrigue with Sir Chris Hoy looking to build upon his previous results and finish his first season of motor racing strongly.

MSVR's bill will also include the Touch of Mojo Mk2 Golf GTi Championship as well as lightweight sportscar entertainment from the Atom Cup, Lotus on Track Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup UK.

The 750 Motor Club will arrive on 2 November for their unique Historic Birkett Relay Race. This race's history dates back to the 1950s, and thanks to some unusual regulations, any team can win, despite the diverse selection of cars and lack of performance parity!

The season will close with a round of inaugural BRDC Formula 4 Winter Series. Jake Hughes claimed this year's main title in style and he's already being talked about as a prospect! Expect a healthy grid and plenty of action as these young chargers try to prove their worth!
