HSCC's retro season begins at Snetterton this weekend

11 April 2023

Snetterton goes retro when the Historic Sports Car Club kicks off its 2023 season with action on both the 300 and 200 circuits this weekend (22/23 April). Highlights will include the return of the Autosport 3 Hours race for the first time since 2015.

The endurance contest is open to all pre-’66 GT cars and will take place on the super-fast 200 circuit on the Sunday afternoon. Former stars of the event in period include two-time F1 champion Jim Clark and British Saloon Car Champion Jack Sears.

Other categories set to feature across the two days include the 70s Road Sports, 80s Production Series, Classic Clubmans, Classic F3, Classic Formula Ford, Formula Junior, Historic FF2000, Historic Formula Ford, Historic Modsports and Special Saloons and Historic Road Sports.

The paddock will be open throughout the weekend too, enabling visitors to meet the teams and drivers and take a closer look at the cars as they’re prepared to hit the track.

Discounted advance tickets for the Historic Sports Car Club at Snetterton are available from £15 until 4pm on Friday 21 April, with reductions for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s. Tickets will be available at full price on the gate after that. For more information, please click here.
