MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) is set for two days of action at Snetterton this weekend with a race day on the 300 circuit on Saturday 5 August followed by the EnduroKA 12 Heures du Norfolk on Sunday 6 August.
Circuit action on the opening day includes entertainment from the UK’s newest Mazda MX-5 Championship, Miata Trophy. Two classes of the iconic Japanese roadster will battle for position in two sprint races following a one-lap shootout SuperPole qualifying session.
Other racing will come from a wide range of closed-wheel cars in the MSVR All-Comers series, whilst the United Formula Ford Championship will add frenetic single-seater competition to the programme.
Attention will then shift to the shorter 200 circuit, which hosts a 12-hour race for Ford KA hatchbacks on Sunday. The popular grassroots endurance race series typically attracts strong entries and it will be intriguing to see how these production cars fare as strategies unfold.
Teams of two to four drivers will share the 2002-08 machines in close to production spec, with very few modifications. This means that it will be down to the drivers to make the difference as the time ticks away.
The paddock will be open throughout the weekend too, allowing spectators to get a closer look at the teams and drivers as they prepare for battle.
Discounted advance tickets are available until 4pm on Friday with free entry for under-13s. After that tickets will only be available at full price on the gate. Click here for more information on Saturday and here for more on Sunday.
