O’Halloran claims first eBay Qualifying Pole as Rabat celebrates front row start

Jason O'Halloran claimed his first eBay Qualifying Pole Position of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship season at Snetterton this afternoon. The O’Show fired to the top of the times with Glenn Irwin splitting the McAMS Yamaha teammates as Tito Rabat impressed on his debut with the team by completing the front row.

O’Halloran set the pace early in the final session and despite Irwin coming close; it wasn’t enough to put the BeerMonster Ducati ahead at the chequered flag and McAMS Yamaha emerged on top ahead of the BikeSocial Sprint Race this afternoon.

Rabat claimed his first front row start in Bennetts BSB after progressing through eBay Qualifying 1 as the 2014 Moto2 World Champion continues to learn Snetterton, having made his first appearance at the circuit yesterday in Free Practice.

Championship leader Tommy Bridewell heads the second row of the grid in fourth position on the second of the BeerMonster Ducatis ahead of previous Champions Josh Brookes and Leon Haslam who complete row two.

Charlie Nesbitt had a strong session in seventh position for the MasterMac Honda by Hawk Racing Team with Danny Kent and Jack Kennedy completing row three with Danny Buchan completing the top ten for SYNETIQ BMW.
