Barwell Motorsport teammates Shaun Balfe and Sandy Mitchell topped the timing sheets after the second practice session for the Intelligent Money British GT Championship at Snetterton this afternoon.

The No. 78 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo duo set a 1m45.994s. A late flyer from Ross Gunn didn’t quite get him and Andrew Howard the top spot and they finished 0.164s behind their rivals in the No. 98 Beechdean AMR Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3.

Rob Bell and Mark Radcliffe were third for Optimum Motorsport in a McLaren 720s GT3 Evo. The sister Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini of Mark Sansom and Will Tregurtha was fourth, half a second slower than their teammates. The Garage 59 duo of Alex West and Marvin Kirchhöfer made it two McLarens and two Lamborghinis in the top five.

Raceway Motorsport topped the GT4 times with Freddie Tomlinson and Stuart Middleton’s No. 56 Ginetta G56 GT4.
