The GT Cup Championship is the main headline act, as MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) heads to Snetterton this weekend (3-4 June) for two days of superb club motorsport.
GT Cup is one of the UK’s leading categories for mighty supercars, with McLarens, Porsches, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Ferrari just some of the prestige marques represented on the grid. With two races per day, including a 25-minute sprint and a 50-minute ‘endurance’ there’s ample opportunity to see some amazing machinery in action.
It’s shaping up to be an exciting championship battle too, with the standings leading Brabham BT62 of Paul Bailey and Ross Wylie just four points ahead of the Lamborghini Trofeo of Matty Evans and Kevin Clarke, with Hugo Cook and Sacha Kakad’s Audi R8 just six points further back.
Clubmans Sports Prototypes will add even more Le Mans feels to the event, with a pair of races on both days too, while saloon car scrabbles will come from the Focus Cup Championship.
Sports car action of a local flavour will come on Saturday, with the Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship, where drivers will go against the clock in pursuit of the ultimate lap time.
The timetable is bolstered on Sunday with the arrival of the Bell Sport Challenge Series, with a grid of paddle-shift Ferrari Challenge cars set to fight it out in two contests.
Tickets for the GT Cup Championship and MotorSport Vision Racing at Snetterton on 3-4 June are available in advance, priced at £17 per day for adults, with discounted entry for teenagers aged 13-15, and free entry for under-13s. For more information and to book, click here.
