Ryan Vickers will start from the Omologato Pole Position for his home round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Snetterton, setting a sequence of fast laps to remain ahead of his rivals to put the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing R1 at the top of the timesheets.

Vickers continued to up the pace, setting the leading time before continuing to up the pace to remain at the top and the only rider to dip into the 2m:05s lap time, to give him a 0.199s edge over his closest rivals.

Billy McConnell was second fastest to take the best Qualifying result for the C&L Fairburn Properties/Look Forward Racing Honda team despite a crash at Oggies in the final three minutes. However, the Australian has subsequently been withdrawn from the opening race following the crash.

Storm Stacey charged to a first front row start of the season for the LKQ Euro Car Parts Kawasaki team, pushing to a front row position in the closing minutes.

Tommy Bridewell was the leading Honda Racing UK rider in fourth place as he held off teammate Andrew Irwin in fifth, whilst Kyle Ryde completed the provisional second row for OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing despite a crash at Nelson in the final two minutes.

Josh Brookes headed row three after Speedy Hire Qualifying for the FHO Racing BMW Motorrad Team just ahead of Rory Skinner and Christian Iddon, who also bounced back from a crash.

Danny Kent and Glenn Irwin both crashed out at Palmer during the second session and qualified in 12th and 14th respectively.
