Snetterton gears up for retro tin-top action with the Classic Touring Car Weekend this Saturday and Sunday (9/10 August). And there’s still time to save on admission, with tickets available at discounted advance prices until 4pm on Friday (8 August) – click here to get yours now.
There will be touring car machinery from the ’60s right through to the ‘00s across a series of grids dedicated to various generations of tin tops. Other specialist categories include the Blu Oval Saloons for retro Fords, and the Historic and Thunder Saloons.
The weekend will also feature a special display from Club Marcos to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the marque’s return to Le Mans. This will be complemented by two special Jem Marsh Memorial Races to remember the manufacturer’s famed co-founder. Additional support races include the Snetterton Saloons, Monoposto Championship, and MSVR Allcomers.
