Mahiki Racing has confirmed that Ian Duggan and Joe Wheeler are reuniting to campaign the second of three confirmed Lotus Emira GT4 entries in this year’s British GT Championship.

The pair have previously raced together, having competed for Toro Verde in a Ginetta in 2023. Duggan joined Mahiki last season, finishing third overall at Silverstone en route to finishing tenth in GT4 and fifth in Pro-Am.

Wheeler will be looking to adapt quickly as he begins his third season in British GT and his first not behind the wheel of Ginetta machinery. The Emira is still fresh to the championship, having made its domestic debut last season with Mahiki.

Wheeler said: "It’s a pleasure to be partnering Ian again this season after the success of the last three rounds in 2023. I'm also thrilled to be with Mahiki and Lotus, and looking forward to a strong campaign this season.”

Mahiki revealed its updated British GT programme last week by announcing that former GT4 champion Jack Mitchell would partner Steven Lake.
