British Truck Racing Championship and TCR UK thunder into Snetterton next weekend

04 September 2025

Snetterton is geared up to welcome the ‘biggest’ racing series in the UK, as the British Truck Racing Championship brings a packed weekend of competition on 13/14 September. On top of the thrilling truck contests, TCR UK brings tin-top action to this late-summer fixture as well.

Headline track action comes from the British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC), with a quintet of high-octane contests scheduled across the weekend. A superb grid of racing giants will be unleashed on the full 300 circuit as five-tonne titans wielding over 1000bhp vie for glory.

Things couldn’t be tighter at the top of the Division One standings, as nine-time champion Ryan Smith continues to face stiff competition from a field of highly-talented challengers, but the Mansfield racer rallied to regain his championship lead at Donington Park last time out, securing a win and three podiums.

However, ten-time champion Stuart Oliver is still only five points behind Smith, while David Jenkins is also just a further three points behind, meaning that just eight points separate the top three.

A three-way battle is also emerging in Division Two, as Bradley Harvey leads Jake Evans by just 14 points, with Simon Cole hot on their heels and only two points behind Evans. With the BTRC season beginning to reach its business end, and with both titles still hanging in the balance, expect hard racing and thrilling overtakes throughout the field.

On top of the five truck races, there’s tin-top competition too courtesy of the TCR UK Touring Car Championship, as a strong grid of contemporary touring car machinery takes to the track. Callum Newsham leads the way heading to Snetterton with his Hyundai i30 N TCR car, while former BTCC driver Max Hall makes his series debut at the Norfolk venue.

A colourful support progamme also features, including long-form action from the Britcar Endurance Championship as well as sprint races in the Junior Saloon Car Championship, Milltek Civic Cup, MINI CHALLENGE Clubsport and the Caterham Graduates Championship.

Main race day (Sunday) tickets are available for just £26 in advance before 4pm on Thursday, with reductions for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s. For more information and to book, click here.
