Snetterton motor racing circuit in Norfolk will mark its 75th anniversary in 2026 with an eclectic calendar of motorsport on two, four and even six wheels from February through to November. This includes visits from many of the UK’s major national championships, nostalgic celebrations, and a packed schedule of grassroots competition.
Competitive motorsport debuted at the former military airbase in 1951, and this year’s calendar will reflect upon the past seven and a half decades in a number of ways. Action commences with the Snetterton Stage Rally on Saturday 7 February before the MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) Season Starter (14 March) launches the traditional circuit racing calendar.
CELEBRATING SNETTERTON’S HERITAGE
At the forefront of this year’s calendar will be a selection of fixtures curated to commemorate the venue’s past. This includes the Historic Sports Car Club’s (HSCC) Jim Russell Trophy Meeting on 25/26 April, named for the local driver who began his career at Snetterton and later founded an eponymous race school at the site.
