Bradley Ray was under the lap record in the second ZYN British Superbike Championship Free Practice session at Snetterton to put the McAMS Yamaha team firmly at the top of the timesheets, his closest rival Max Cook was 0.630s adrift on the AJN Steelstock bimota.
Ray had been duelling with Scott Redding for the top position in the opening session, but the 2022 champion was upping the pace in session two, having the edge over the opposition with Ryan Vickers again holding a top three place for Honda Racing UK.
Reigning champion Kyle Ryde was fourth fastest ahead of the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha pairing led by Rory Skinner, with Danny Kent holding off Glenn Irwin and Redding who completed the top eight riders. Leon Haslam and Jason O'Halloran completed the top ten ahead of Pre-Qualifying.
