Innovation Racing has confirmed that its debut British GT Championship line-up will comprise of Thomas Holland and Hadley Simpson in 2026.

After contesting the 2025 GT Cup Championship in a Ginetta G55 GT4, this year represents a step-up in machinery for the newcomers. Aiming for glory in the GT4 class, Innovation will be using a Ginetta G56 Evo for its maiden British GT venture.

Both signings are experienced in their new machines, with Holland having contested British GT in the same car between 2023 and 2024. He returns to GT4 after spending a year in the single-make McLaren Trophy Europe championship.

Simpson steps up to make his GT4 debut following a season in both the GT Cup and Ginetta GT Championships, the former of which he spent with Innovation.

Thomas Holland said: “I’m really excited to be returning to the British GT paddock for this year, a paddock in which I started my racing career back in 2020 in the GRDC championship. I’ve gotten to know the G56 over my last two stints in British GT and believe that, along with the team, we will be able to get the most out of the car this year. Innovation is such a welcoming team and I’m looking forward to working with them for the year ahead and showing everyone how competitive we can be.”

Hadley Simpson said: “I am incredibly excited to announce my step up to the British GT Championship with Innovation Racing alongside Thomas Holland. From competing in Innovation’s very first race to now signing for British GT is a huge moment for both myself and the team. I’m proud to continue being part of this journey and can’t thank Simon Griffiths and everyone at Innovation Racing enough for the opportunity.”
