The Audi A3 Saloon of Dexter Patterson was less than half a second off the pace-setter in fourth.
Another German machine was fifth, courtesy of the Mercedes A35 Saloon of Daniel Rowbottom, while championship leader Ash Sutton was sixth, 0.580s off the leading time. The Restart Racing Hyundai of Chris Smiley was less than half a tenth back from the four-time champion, and Gordon Shedden was eighth for the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport outfit.
Rounding out the top-10 was Mikey Doble behind the wheel of the LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing Audi, with James Dorlin’s Hyundai i30N finishing tenth, just under a second off Ingram’s fastest time to round out a close session.
