Australian rising star George Proudford-Nalder will make his GB4 debut with Douglas Motorsport in this month’s Winter Series at Snetterton.
The 16-year-old from New South Wales was one of the leading talents in the 2026 British F4 season, finishing fourth overall in his first full single-seater campaign.
Three victories, coming at Silverstone, Donington Park and Croft were the main highlights of a successful year, which also featured two further podiums and a pair of pole positions, both coming at the Silverstone event in which he claimed his breakthrough victory.
George gained further experience by competing in the final two events of the Formula Winter Series earlier in the year, with a podium at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and he also contested the Italian F4 rounds at Monza in June and E4 Championship opener at Vallelunga.
His single-seater year followed a hugely promising Ginetta Junior campaign in 2025. He was classified seventh overall in his first season of car racing, with podiums at Oulton Park and Croft, in addition to multiple Rookie class podiums.
With plenty of experience now behind him, Proudford-Nalder enters the GB4 Winter Series as a part of a strong Douglas Motorsport line-up, pairing with series returnee Conor Grant, who was a multiple podium finisher in his rookie campaign.
George Proudford-Nalder: “I’m very thankful for the opportunity to compete in the GB4 Winter Series with Douglas Motorsport. The team have had a very strong year and I hope that I can add to that over the course of the weekend. I can’t wait to get started!”
Team Principal Wayne Douglas: “In his first year of single-seaters, George has shown that he is a very talented driver, and we’re excited to be joining forces with him for the GB4 Winter Series. While he doesn’t have any experience of the GB4 car just yet, he’s also proven to be a quick learner, and everything points towards him being a front-runner at Snetterton.”
