American driver William Rohan will make a GB4 return at this month’s Winter Series at Snetterton, switching to Pace Performance for his latest appearances.
The 17-year-old made his GB4 debut in August at Silverstone, qualifying inside the top-20 for his debut weekend against drivers with significantly more experience, while going on to achieve a best finish of 16th.
Rohan has additional GB4 experience across a handful of additional test days, and has also raced in American single-seaters across two events in the Ligier Junior Formula Championship a year ago.
Contesting four races at Virginia International Raceway and the Alabama Motorsports Park, he claimed two sixth place finishes before ending on a high with a run to fourth in the season finale.
William Rohan: “I’m thrilled and grateful to join Pace Performance for the GB4 Winter Series at Snetterton. My GB4 debut at Silverstone was a constructive step in what I hope is a long journey in open-wheel racing. Consistent with my approach at Silverstone, this is about continuing to build the foundation in preparation for next season, and I’m excited for another opportunity to learn from my teammates and other drivers on the grid.”
Team Principal Sean Byrne: “We are really excited to have William on board for the Winter Series. He recently tested with Pace Performance and showed a strong performance. William fits very well into the team, and we look forward to seeing his development across the forthcoming Winter Series race weekend.”
