Mackie secures double pole in delayed GB4 Winter Series second qualifying

25 October 2026

Elite Motorsport's Harrison Mackie claimed a double pole position in a delayed second qualifying session for the GB4 Winter Series at Snetterton on Sunday.

The British driver set a 1m49.581s in an entertaining 20-minute session, in which at least half a dozen drivers took turns at the top of the times.

Mackie's time came on his final lap, and put him 0.189s of teammate and standings leader Jesse Phillips in second.

Douglas Motorsport's race two pole sitter George Proudford-Nalder was third fastest, just 0.079s further back and 0.033s clear of the third Elite of John O'Donnell.

R Racing's Chase Fernandez was fifth and a tenth of a second in arrears, with Douglas' round one winner Conor Grant sixth this time around, and 0.436s further back.

KMR Sport's Lewis Goff set the seventh quickest time ahead of Fortec's Qarrar Firhand, with Jamie Leverton (Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing) and Alexander De Benedittis (Pace) completing the top-10 for the round three grid.

Mackie's second best time for the round four grid was just 0.004s away from his outright best, and therefore earning him pole for the event finale this afternoon.

Phillips was again second quickest, with O'Donnell completing an all-Elite top-three. Fernandez, Proudford-Nalder, Grant, Goff, Firhand, De Benedittis and Leverton completed the top-10 for the round four grid.

Round three is due to start at the amended time of 13.25.
